The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a patriotic organization in Utah dedicated to preserving American history and promoting education and historic preservation. Founded in 1890, the DAR’s Utah chapters actively engage in community service, historical research, and honoring the legacy of their Revolutionary War ancestors. Through various programs and initiatives, they aim to foster patriotism, support military personnel, and educate youth about America’s rich heritage. The DAR in Utah continues to uphold its mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism among its members and the community at large.
We are also affiliated with Children of the American Revolution (CAR) which is a great opportunity both boys and girls under the age of twenty-two who have descended from a Revolutionary War Patriot. This organization teaches leadership, involves young people in community service projects, and much more.
