The Spirit of America Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was organized on September 5, 2019.

NSDAR is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization with the mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

With the tremendous amount of growth in Salt Lake County, Utah, this new chapter serves several cities surrounding South Jordan. As the chapter name implies, we bring people together throughout the communities through the mission of DAR. The recent growth has brought an incredible amount of diversity into the area, and diversity is what America is about. Women of the DAR come from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of interests. The Spirit of America Chapter, NSDAR,  wants you to feel welcome and included through a common bond of lineage and a love of God, Home, and Country. Meetings occur on the second Saturday of the month from September through May.
